If your station stops receiving the outdoor sensors this may be for one of several reasons such as low batteries and on occasions electrical disturbance. If it is the batteries (as often happens to outdoor sensors with the onset of cold weather) consider that it could be either the outdoor sensor(s) whose battery is low or the indoor console or even both.
Any time you stop and start the outdoor sensor such as changing batteries the indoor receiver will need to relearn the sensors. Some machines have a facility to do this but we often find that they need a complete cold reboot by removing the batteries.
As a general rule and different to what some of the manuals say we find it better to put batteries in the remote senosr first and then in the indoor console.
When rebooting the sensor and console it is advisable to leave them for a period so that any memory is completely lost. Surprisingly this can take a long time with some models so leaving it for anything up to an hour may be needed.
When you have powered the console up it is best not to do any set up until such time as it has finished searching for the sensors and time signal.
