From May 28th to Dec 31st 2005 Yorkshire Museum are exhibiting about the Ice Age, http://www.yorkshiremuseum.org.uk. As part of this exhibition a Davis Weather Station is on show for visitors to see and gain information about, and to see what equipment can be used for monitoring and recording weather instruments.The exhibition is divided into 5 sections:
The Fridge Mountain - everything you ever wanted to know about Ice Ages through the door of a fridge!
The Big Freeze - feel the chill in the glacial periods.
The Cave - seek shelter in the hyena's den, if you dare!
Turning up the heat - see Yorkshire wildlife as you've never seen it before.
Ice Lab - its your turn to be a scientist and discover the Ice Age for yourself.
