Children's Weather Day at The Observatory
- Published 8th Apr 2008

On 15th March Weather Shop teamed with The Observatory as part of National Science Week for a Children's Weather Day. The morning was for 6 - 10 year olds and was a great success, enjoyed by the children and their parents!
The day covered 3 main topics of interest; making an anemometer and discussing the flow of winds, releasing a balloon to see how far they would travel (our furthest was received in Gravesend), and looking at different cloud types by drawing and creating characters for them!
